It's funny looking back on my last journal. Seeing as it was only just over a year ago, things feel so different!
I talked about how much I hated history: that feeling has long gone. I'm studying to be a teacher at University now, but my specialist subject is history and I'm actually really looking forward to it. I don't even know why I disliked it in the first place... my teacher was pretty brilliant in hindsight. Maybe thats because I know what being a good teacher involves now,
That You Me At Six gig has been and gone, and another one has been and gone too. I now have tickets for a new one in March, at home. If I was looking at countdowns then I would focus on the fact that I'm going to see Example in two weeks time with my best friend. Super keen for that!
And then I start talking about earning money... oh gosh, why couldn't I have just saved my pay instead of spending it on silly things? I'm awful with money, and always have been. Probably always will be. I cannot wait to get back to work so that I can start refilling my bank account. I'm surprised Natwest aren't getting suspiscious about the amount of outgoings I have.
I've decided I've got to take a few photos of things I've made craftwise recently. I made my best friend a TARDIS giftbox which I was super proud of, definitely going to get some photos of that. I've also made her a Minecraft Christmas card which I'm pretty proud of too, and I did a project for my School Experience based around a book by Julia Donaldson called The Gruffalo's Child. I might put that up soon, actually (:
Basically, I have loads of paper and card that I bought before I came to Uni and I'm going to try my damned hardest to use it all!
Only two and a half weeks of University left before the Christmas holidays. All assignments are done, and the last two weeks are just school experience anyway! So excited for Christmas, especially for the Doctor Who special!
